Check-in Logistics

Shorah te and welcome!

Mysterium is soon, folks. It’s right around the corner!! T-Minus 17 days and counting!

We know there are quite a few of you who are joining us for the first time, and we’re so excited to meet you. Welcome to your first Mysterium!

Early Badge Pickup

Good news! If you’re already at the hotel on Thursday, you can pick up your badge Thursday evening at 7:30 pm in the Hamilton room.

This is not required. It just allows folks to get their badges early, and it helps to get everyone in the doors Friday morning a little faster.

The Hamilton room is in the Executive Meeting Center, on the Northeast side of the hotel. To get there from the lobby, head North just on the left side of the hotel’s front desk, past the pool, where you’ll see glass doors for the Executive Meeting Center conference rooms.

The Hamilton room is through there.

Please note this is for pre-purchased badges only.

On site registration will be available Friday morning immediately after we get pre-registered attendees checked in. Swag will be available to pick up Friday morning in the convention room, which is the Willamette Ballroom in the Southwest corner of the hotel, indicated on the map above.

Friday Morning Logistics

Alright y’all let’s talk logistics.

We will open the doors to the Willamette Ballroom at 8:30am on Friday morning. We will have multiple lines to get into the convention space, there will be plenty of signage, and traffic controllers to help guide folks on where to go.

Some important points of note:

  • If you registered online for Mysterium and need to pick up your badge, please stand in the left-hand lane.
  • If you picked up your badge Thursday evening but need to pick up swag, please stand in the right-hand lane.
  • If you picked up your badge Thursday evening and do not need swag, welcome to Mysterium! Skip the lines, head into the convention space, and take a seat.
  • If you’re new to joining us and need to purchase a badge, welcome! On-site registration will open immediately after we get the masses through check-in. Please hang out in the hallway until then.
  • If you’re interested in purchasing swag, the swag table will open after Opening Ceremonies, at approximately 11:00am Friday morning.

Mysterium Online

If you are unable to attend in person this year and are looking for things to do virtually, did you know that there is a Mysterium convention space in the Uru Live Cavern? We’ve added some great information on how to get there and how to participate in Marker Missions.

You can explore D’ni with friends, collect shirt designs from not just this years’ Mysterium, but all the previous years stretching all the way back to the very first one from the year 2000, there’s all sorts of fun! Check out the Mysterium Online page for more information.

April/May Creativity Prompt Winner

There were some fantastic submissions for this prompt! Talashar won the writing piece with Darkling Isle.

Additional Things to Do

Looking for more things to do during the convention? We will have Activity Books and Passport Booklets this year!

The Activity Books include things like coloring pages, mazes, and fun puzzles that are of a more relaxing nature than the sort to give your brain a workout. Some of the entries are even submissions from your fellow attendees!

The Passport Booklets are a fun addition to this year’s convention. Inside has a list of various challenges and such that, when completed, will get you a stamp/sticker.

Special thanks to Parker and Curator for the custom stamp design and manufacturing. Collect them all to win a prize!

Both of these items are free and will be available at the registration desk.

Whew, that’s a lot to cover, but hopefully this will help everyone get in the doors ASAP so we can get this party started.

See y’all soon!
