“Official” Word Regarding Mysterium 2011
There has been some confusion about Mysterium 2011, so to make it official, here’s the official word: while it is true that the Mysterium Committee originally decided not to directly organize an event this year, a group of fans formed the Mysterium’nee Committee to organize this year’s Mysterium in Boston, Massachusetts. That event is now the official Mysterium for 2011. We fully support their efforts (some of us are even helping to organize it), we wish them well and we encourage you to go!

Greetings my starchy friends!
As you may have noticed, there has been a dearth of Mysterium news ’round these parts. A bunch of us noticed it too, and our digging revealed hints that Mysterium might not be happening. But don’t panic! We decided to take it upon ourselves to plan a Mysterium for this year, full of all your favorite activities*. We are the Mysterium’nee committee, and we have setup shop over at http://mysterium.zibland.com/. With the blessings** of folks from your normal committee, we will be running Mysterium this year. We have hacked been given permission to post some news here on the main Mysterium site, but be sure to visit http://mysterium.zibland.com/ for the most up-to-date news.

Mysterium will be held in Boston from August 5-7 this year. So mark your calendars and get ready, because hotel bookings and registration will open shortly! And remember, never trust a potato with repressed memories***.
