Design Requirements
The theme for this year’s Mysterium is Voltaic Age from Myst III: Exile. You are encouraged to use elements of the theme in your design.
Bonus points if you can work something about the host city (Denver, CO) into your design. Think mountains.
Front/Pocket Design
The shirt front design should be simple and easily recognized. It will be used on the front of the Mysterium t-shirt, and possibly on certain memorabilia.
- One color – keep in mind that this will be either black or white on a colored background (depending on the chosen shirt color we may invert your design), and thus we cannot guarantee the accuracy of halftone reproduction. Do not use a gradient.
- May contain Location and Date
- May contain word “Mysterium”
- You may either submit a pocket design of no more than 3″ x 3″ or a full-size design of no more than 8″ x 8″.
- You may use the Falling Man logo, but it is no longer required – .jpg, .eps, .tif, and .svg versions are available at http://www.mysterium.net/logo/
Back Design
The shirt back design is more detailed than the front, and often visually represents the location Mysterium is being held.
- Up to four colors – these may contain halftones/shading, but no color blending/gradients
- May use Falling Man logo
- May contain Location and Date
- May contain word “Mysterium”
- Print size no less than 9” x 12”
