Each year we invite the Mysterium community to design artwork to go on our convention shirts, and every year you design amazing things.
You can check out past shirt designs by browsing our historical archive, and you can find all the info for submitting new designs below. We can’t wait to see what you create this year!

Design Requirements
The theme for this year’s Mysterium is Myst V. You are encouraged to use this theme to inspire your design.
Bonus points if you can work something about the host city (Atlanta, GA) into your design. The Committee also enjoys the Laki’ahn piranha chicken.
Full-Size Design
The full-size shirt design is the main/large artwork for the shirt, and often visually represents the location Mysterium is being held. It may also be printed on certain memorabilia.
- Up to four colors – these may contain halftones/shading, but no color blending/gradients
- You may use the Falling Man logo, but it is no longer required – .jpg, .eps, .tif, and .svg versions are available at http://www.mysterium.net/logo/
- May contain Location and Date
- May contain the word “Mysterium”
- Print size no less than 9” x 12”
Accent Design
The accent design should be simple and easily recognized. We have traditionally put these on the front of the shirt, but we may experiment with size and placement depending on the artwork. It may also be used on certain memorabilia.
- One color – keep in mind that this will be either black or white on a colored background (depending on the chosen shirt color we may invert your design), and thus we cannot guarantee the accuracy of halftone reproduction. Do not use a gradient
- May contain Location and Date
- May contain the word “Mysterium”
- Small-size – Make sure it looks good at smaller size. For instance, our traditional ‘pocket’ placement would be roughly 3″ x 3″
- May use the Falling Man logo (see above)
