Two years ago we had an entry in our Mysterium Showtunes/Open Mic Night event called “Praise Gehn”, sung to the tune of “You’re Welcome” from Moana. It quickly became a crowd favorite, and so this year we’re inviting everyone to sing along! Submit your own recording and we’ll splice together pieces of each video to make a complete song.

Note: we will have a karaoke version of the original song playing in the background of the final video, so please do not include backing music in your recording. It will be added later during editing. Feel free to listen to the song with headphones/earbuds, however, if you need that for proper timing.
Rules
- Your recording should be a cappella – that is, without any backing music
- All submissions must be received no later than July 28, 2020
- Videos should be in one of these file formats: .mp4, .mov, .avi
- Feel free to share your submission before Mysterium. No need to keep these entries a secret!
Submissions
You should upload your video to Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or another private file host from which you can share the uncompressed/unedited video files. Then, email a link to the files to art@mysterium.net, with the subject “Praise Gehn”. Be sure to include your name as you want it listed on screen.
DO NOT upload the videos to Youtube or Facebook or any other video sharing site as a means of submitting them to us, as those sites will compress the video. We need the original video files.
